Editing production inspection data

To edit or add information to the inspection data screen, locate and select the desired record on the main record screen and click on the button to start the execution. The inspection execution screen will be displayed. The following sections will be available:

 

Inspection

 

The fields in this section will be displayed completed as entered during the creation of the inspection, but some subsections can be edited. See a detailed description of the fields available for editing in the Executing a production inspection section.

 

Documentation

 

Add or import, through this section, the attachments related to the inspection. Refer to the Adding attachments section for further details on how to add and/or associate attachments.

 

Nonconformity

 

Use this section to record all nonconformities found during the inspection of the object characteristics. The non-conformities correspond to the non-compliance of the requirements specified for the receiving. Use the following buttons to manage the non-conformities found during the inspection:

Select the desired characteristic in the Navigation panel, click on the arrow next to this button and select which type of nonconformity will be recorded:

Ad-hoc: Select this option to create a nonconformity that will be controlled in the SE Inspection component. See more details about this operation in the Creating nonconformities in SE Inspection section.

Action: Select this option to create a nonconformity that will be controlled in the SE Action component. See more details about this operation in the Creating nonconformities in SE Action section.

Incident: Select this option to create a nonconformity that will be controlled in the SE Incident component. See more details about this operation in the Creating nonconformities in SE Incident section.

Action plan: Select this option to create a nonconformity that will be controlled in the SE Action plan component. See more details about this operation in the Creating nonconformities in SE Action Plan section.

Problem: Select this option to create a nonconformity that will be controlled in the SE Problem component. See more details about this operation in the Creating nonconformities in SE Problem section.

Click on this button to edit the record of nonconformity. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to delete a record of nonconformity. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to access the charts related to the test selected in the list of records These charts will only be available if the data recorded is enough to generate charts.

Click on this button or press DELETE on the keyboard to delete the test record selected in the list of records.

 

Charts

 

In this section, the different chart options of the characteristic selected in the Navigation panel will be available. It is important to point out that the charts will only be enabled for characteristics that have already been tested.

 

Associations

 

The APQP/PPAP, Equipment, Tooling, and Supplies sections allow viewing which objects have been used in the production of the inspected item, as long as they are duly associated with the item in SE PDM.

 

Tools

 

When clicking on the arrow below this button, the following options are available:

Reports: It allows issuing inspection reports. It also allows configuring a new report.

Export: It is possible to export the inspection structure to an Excel file (.xls) and saving it to the computer.

 

Save the record after performing the necessary changes.
