Location: Management Item revision
Overview:
Whenever needed, the users of the team responsible for the item/item family may revise it. The revision may be started when creating the item/item family. However, for better organization, the revision data will be described in this section.
▪Remember that, to be revised, the item type must have the revision control duly configured and the item/item family must be released. ▪In SE PDM, apart from the revision standard flow (called ISO9000 model) the user is allowed to use a SE Workflow process to start revision flow. The process configuration that will be used in the item revision is done on the data screen of the item type in question. |
Specific buttons:

Click on this button to create a new revision. See further details about this operation in the Revising items section.

Click on this button to edit a revision. Select the desired record before clicking on the button. This button will only be enabled after selecting an item in revision.

Click on this button to delete a revision. Select the desired record before clicking on the button. This button will only be enabled after selecting an item in revision, provided it has a current revision.

Click on this button to open the electronic file of the selected record in view mode.

|
Click on the arrow on the right-side of the button to view the item data or revision data screen of the item selected on the main screen.

|
When clicked, it allows finishing the revision selected on the screen, regardless of the step it is in.
