Overview:

A portfolio consists in a set of projects and/or programs managed by a team to meet the strategic objectives of the organization. Use this menu to create all the portfolios that may be used to group together projects and programs with objectives in common. It is also possible to analyze their deadline, resource, and result indicators, among other information. Through the field located in the upper right part of this menu, it is possible to alter the portfolio management view between:

Details: Displays all the information of all visions.

Deadline: Displays the information regarding planned, rescheduled and actual.

Resource: Displays the number of allocated hours.

Result: Displays the cost and revenue totals and the gross margin.

 

Specific buttons:

Click on this button to add a new portfolio. See further details about this operation in the Adding portfolio section.

Click on this button to edit the portfolio selected on the list of records.

Click on this button to delete the portfolio selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to access the schedule of the portfolio selected in the list of records. See further details in the Managing portfolio schedules section.

Click on the arrow next to this button to configure and issue the desired portfolio reports. This button also allows you to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, and it also searches for the parameters that can be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on this button to enable or disable the record selected on the main screen. To view the disabled records, use the "Status" field of the General filter in the search filters panel.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to three quadrants. When selecting this option, the third quadrant will display the details about the portfolio selected in the list of records in the second quadrant.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to two quadrants.

 

Use the "Search filters" to easily retrieve records based on specific information. See in the View Portfolio menu a detailed description of the filters.
