Home

Improvements have been performed in the option to set the portal as home, aiming to simplify its usage and comprehension, since due to the existence of home "stacking", once the portal permission was removed, the home was understood to have been replaced or even deleted.

The removal of home stacking will not impact the user who already has an assigned home. These changes will consider the last home assigned to the user, even if it is the default system home. A home will only be disregarded if the user does not have permission to the portal, that is, if their permission has been removed, but the system will display a message notifying that the home has been removed, giving the user the option to assign a new home or request the responsible manager to configure it.

See the main changes for this item:

When there is not a portal set as home, the following message will be displayed, considering all users that may or may not have permission to assign home.

With permission to assign home, there will be a button to select the portal
Without permission to assign home, it is necessary to contact the manager

There is no longer the option to dissociate the home: it will be allowed to remove the permission of the portal set as home or assign a new home in "Change settings" in the bt_gear_noticenter (Configuration) button.

The home definition screen has been edited, simplifying the selection of users or groups, without the need to share the portal before assigning the home. In this case, when assigning the home, the right to view the portal will be granted, and the permission to edit it in the sharing screen may be granted later.

The previous "only me" option is now assigned through the Specific users field on the new screen. Simply search for the name of the logged user and click on save.

The previous "all users who view the portal" option is now assigned through the user or group to which they belong.

The previous "specific users" option no longer exists, as it will not bring the users and groups that were shared, the home definition now has a separate permission and it will be automatically enabled in portal share when a certain home is defined.

It will no longer be possible to assign a public portal as home for all SE Suite users, but it will be possible to assign a public portal as home indicating by users and groups.

The portal actions, in the portal list, will still bring the option to define the home in the new format. Currently, both in the list and in the portal it will not be possible to change the Select portal field; the field will always be displayed disabled with the name of the selected portal.

The user will continue to receive the message when a certain home is assigned, but there will no longer be the option to reject it. It will only be a warning; if the user has permission and does not agree with the assigned home, it can be changed.

Home configuration (CM007)

Improvements have been performed in the home configuration search screen. In the search filters, it will be possible to filter by portal, user name, department, position and team.

The search results will display the Portal and View portal columns, and it will be possible to delete or edit the home permission just like in the previous version. The viewing icon will be disabled if the user does not have permission in the portal.

Widget copy

Recently, an improvement has been made to the portal to allow the user to duplicate a widget, avoiding the necessity to perform a new manual configuration.

In this version, this event is recorded in the audit trail whenever the user clicks on the copy widget button.
