Define what will take place with the expired requirement mapping:
▪It will be revalidated. In this case, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Add new revalidation option. On the screen that will be opened, enter the validity date (if variable) and an explanation for the revalidation. View the Revalidating mappings and requirements section for further details on how to perform this operation. When the requirement mapping is truly revalidated, it will no longer be displayed in the list of pending records. ▪It will be revised. In this case, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Add new revision option: it allows revising the requirement mapping. This option will only be enabled if the category of the pending requirement mapping has the Revision control configured. View the Revising mappings and requirements section for further details on how to perform this operation. When the document revision is closed, it will no longer be displayed in the list of pending records. ▪It is no longer of any worth to the organization; therefore, it will be deleted. In this case, click on the button. In order to perform this operation, it is necessary to have the "Delete" control allowed in the security of the requirement. ▪It is no longer of any worth to the organization, but its record must be maintained. In this case, the document must be cancelled. To do that, click on the More button and select the Cancel document option. ▪It is a contract and it is no longer of any worth to the organization, but its record must be maintained. In this case, the contract must be closed. To do that, click on the More button and select the Finish contract option.
