See how to approve the cause analysis of an occurrence:

In the list of records on main screen, select the desired occurrence.

After that, click on the  button on the toolbar.

At this point, the occurrence data screen will be displayed. The fields will be filled out with the data entered in the identification, containment/disposition, investigation and cause analysis steps (according to the configuration of the method applied to the occurrence). The fields in the "Occurrence identification" section may be available for editing according to the configurations performed in the occurrence classification. According to the configurations set in the occurrence classification, it will be possible to view, edit, or add data in the Association and Attachment tabs.

Access the General tab  Cause analysis Approval section. The following fields are available:
Approval
|
Approved
|
Select the "Yes" option to approve or the "No" option to reject the cause analysis.

Action
|
This field will only be available if the "Yes" option has been selected previously. The options available for selection will be available if, in the method associated with the occurrence in question, it is NOT configured that the action plan will be planned along with the cause analysis. They are:
▪Continue: The occurrence will follow the flow defined in the method associated with its classification. This option will not be available if, in the method associated with the occurrence classification, it is configured that the action plan will be planned along with the cause analysis and no action has been created. ▪Finish: The occurrence will be finished. This option will not be available if, in the method associated with the occurrence classification, it is configured that the action plan will be planned along with the cause analysis and an action has been created. |
Comments
|
Record comments on the approval of the cause analysis. If it is rejected, use this field to enter a reason.
|
Approver
|
Displays the sequence of approvers of the responsibility route through the occurrence. If the cause analysis has been previously rejected and it is going through a new approval, its approval cycles will be displayed.

After filling out all the necessary fields, save the record:
▪If the cause analysis is approved, the actions will be released for the next step defined in the method associated with its classification. ▪If the cause analysis is rejected, the occurrence will return to the Cause analysis step, so that the responsible party can perform the necessary adjustments.
This operation may also be performed by the users responsible for the occurrence approval through the Analysis approval task.
