Creating a location |
To create a location in the storeroom, select the storeroom in the main screen structure and then click on the button.
Fill out the ID # and the name of the location.
Note: To successfully create a storeroom, it is necessary to fill out the required fields in the General tab. After saving the data for the first time, the other tabs will be available to be filled out.
Upper level storeroom: This field will be completed by the system with the storage place selected in the storeroom structure, but it is possible to edit it. Type: Select whether the place being created is a location (fixed site within the storeroom: room, warehouse, etc.) or a repository (can be moved: pallet, bucket, etc.). Storeroom path: This field is completed by the system with the records that are in the upper levels in the structure, up to the location in question. For example: Storeroom I.Shed I.Pallete 1HA3B Storage type: Select the type that defines how the storeroom objects will be stored in the place or repository being created. Event period: Define the dates on which the events may be performed in the repository: ▪Start date: Enter the date from which the repository events may be performed. ▪Estimated end date: Enter the planned end date for the end of the events in the repository. ▪Actual end date: This field will be filled by the system when the repository in question is transported or closed. Occupied area (m²): Enter, in m², the space the repository takes up in the storeroom. If the storeroom or the location has controls as to the amount of area used, the value entered in this field will be used for this control. This field will only be available if the selected "Type" is "Repository".
DetailsCapacityThe Capacity section will only be displayed if the selected type is Storage place. In it, it is possible to parameterize the controls for the storage place capacity. For that, the following options are available: Control capacity of storeroom repositories: Check this option to limit the quantity of the location repositories. To do this, in the Maximum capacity field, enter the maximum number of repositories the location may have. Control capacity per occupied area: Check this option to limit the area of the location that may be occupied. For that, fill in the following fields: ▪Available area (m²): Enter how many square meters of the location are available to be used. ▪Notify on: Enter the percentage of occupied area, which upon being reached, will generate a notification to the team responsible for the storeroom to which the location belongs.
Storeroom objectsIn the Storeroom objects section, of the Details tab, it is possible to define which items in the storeroom should be stored in the place/repository in question. Keep the Display objects in stock only option checked, so that in the list of records at the bottom, only the objects that are in stock are displayed. If this option is unchecked, the list of records will also display the objects whose quantity in stock is equal to 0.
DescriptionIn the Description section in the Details tab, enter important information about the location/repository being created.
After filling in all the necessary fields, save the record. |
