Overview:

Through this menu, the users and teams responsible for the tasks added to the project can execute it. Note that if in the task data, the "Allow the resources allocated to perform tasks" option has been checked, the resources allocated to the task can also be executed. Tasks will only be available for execution after finishing the planning or approval of the project to which they belong.

 

Specific buttons:

Click on the arrow located next to this button and select the desired option:

Task data: Allows the execution of one or more tasks selected in the list of records through their data screen. For further information on this operation, see the Executing a task section.

SE GanttChart: Allows executing the task selected in the list of records using the options from the Schedule section of the Task tab of SE GanttChart. This button is not available if more than one task is selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to view the project data screen to which the task selected in the list of records belongs.

Click on the arrow next to this button and select the desired option to access the SE GanttChart or the project schedule to which the task selected in the list of records belongs. Note that these options will be available for viewing only.

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on this button to send a task with 100% performed, selected in the list of records, to the next configured step.

This button will only be displayed on the toolbar if SE Project is integrated with SE Risk and it will only be enabled if the project to which the task selected in the list of records belongs has a created risk plan. Click on it to access the risk plan created for this project. Refer to the specific SE Risk documentation for further details on risk plans.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to three quadrants. After selecting this option, the third quadrant displays the schedule and the details of the project to which the task selected in the list of records of the second quadrant belongs.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to two quadrants.

 

If the "Release the task executions that are not pending?" option is checked in the general parameters, all tasks under the responsibility of the logged-in user (or those that are assigned as a resource if it is configured that the user can execute them) will be displayed in the list of records of this menu to be executed. If this option is NOT checked, the system will only display the pending tasks, i.e., the tasks that are in the execution period and whose predecessor tasks are executed properly.

Use the "Search filters" to easily retrieve the desired records based on specific information. See in the View Task menu a detailed description of the filters.

When executing a task, the system may display a message stating it is not possible to perform the operation. That happens because the project to which the task belongs in having its structure edited by its responsible party. The unblocking may be performed by the due responsible party through the Management Project tracking menu.
