To edit the data of an initiative, select the desired record and click on the button on the main screen toolbar.
General data
The fields in this section will be displayed as completed, according to what was entered when creating the initiative. See a detailed description of the fields in the Creating initiatives section.

In this section, the system displays the data of the discussion forums regarding the initiative, regardless of their status. To view the forum data, select the desired record and click on the button. See further details about forums and how to use them by accessing the Execution Forum menu.

This section will only be displayed if in the initiative type an evaluation method is associated. In this case, a quantitative evaluation is performed for the initiative, which allows evaluating its merit, based on the criteria established in the evaluation method. See further details in the Performing an initiative evaluation section.
Evaluation route
In this subsection, it is possible to define the responsible parties for the initiative evaluation. It is important to point out that the route will only be available for editing if, on the Evaluation tab on the data screen of the initiative type in question, it is NOT set that the route type will be "Fixed" & "Unique". In that case, fill out the following fields:

Check this option for the initiative to move to the next configured step only after all the members of the route release their tasks.

Cycle

This field is filled out by the system with a sequential number indicating the evaluation/approval cycle that the initiative is going through. Whenever the initiative is rejected and goes through the evaluation/approval step again, the system automatically assigns a number to it. Select the previous cycles to view the members of the responsibility route who performed the evaluation/approval of the initiative.

If the initiative type is configured with the route type Variable on the toolbar next to the list of records, the following buttons will be enabled:

Click on this button to add a new member to the responsibility route. Refer to the Configuring a responsibility route section to obtain a detailed description on how to add a new member.

Click on this button to edit the data of the member selected in the list of records.
|
|
Click on this button to delete the responsibility route member selected in the list of records.

Evaluation method
This subsection will display the initiative evaluation methods:
Evaluation method: This field is filled in by the system with the evaluation method that has been associated with the initiative type and used in its evaluation.
Result: The following fields are filled in by the system based on the result of the calculation performed with the values entered in the Quantitative section:
▪Value: This field displays the result of the calculation of the values entered in the evaluation. ▪Option: This field displays the result option configured in the evaluation method applied to the value entered in the previous field.
Quantitative
This subsection will display the criteria defined in the evaluation method with their respective weights.

Use this section to define the users responsible for approving the initiative. It is important to point out that the route will only be available for editing if, on the Approval tab on the data screen of the initiative type in question, it is NOT set that the route type will be "Fixed" & "Unique". In that case, fill out the following fields:

Attachment
It is possible to add attachments related to the initiative that is being created. For further details on how to associate attachments with the record, see the Adding attachments section.
Document
It is possible to associate documents from the SE Document component related to the initiative that is being created. For further details about associating documents to the record, see the Adding documents section.

In this section, it is possible to simulate the evaluation of the scenarios associated with the initiative. Refer to the Simulating an initiative evaluation section for a detailed description on how to perform this operation.

In this section, it is possible to associate members that are actively involved with the initiative or that may be affected positively or negatively by it, to receive a notification, just as the initiative is released. To do that, click on the button on the side toolbar and fill in the fields in the window that will be displayed:

Department
|
Select the department of the organization whose users will make up the notification group of the initiative. Use the buttons placed next to the fields to fill them out with the data of logged user or clear the entered value, respectively.

Position
|
Select the position of the organization whose users will make up the notification group of the initiative. Note that it is possible to use the Department field as a filter (it is not necessary to check it) to select the position from a determined department in the organization. Use the buttons placed on the right-side of the fields to fill them in with the data of logged user or clear the entered value, respectively.
|
User
|
Select a specific system user to make up the notification group of the initiative. Use the buttons placed next to the field to add a new user to the system or clear the field, respectively.
|
After filling in the necessary fields, save the record. Associate as many members as necessary with the notification group.
|
This section will only be enabled for editing after the initiative goes through the approval step and is released. In this case, it is possible to define a project (SE Project) so that the responsible parties may plan their implementation. To do that, use the side toolbar buttons:

Click on this button and select the desired option:
▪Add: Allows the user to add a new project (SE Project) to execute the initiative. The project creation wizard screen will offer the following options: oBlank project: Allows adding a new project. Follow the steps in the wizard, where it is possible to select the type that will sort the project, meet requests for it, enter its ID # and name, define those responsible, and configure the planned dates for its execution. If you wish, it will also be possible to inform the project summary. The steps displayed may vary, depending on the settings made in the project type. Refer to the specific documentation of the SE Project component (Management Project planning Creating project using wizard - Blank project) for further details on this operation. oFrom template: Allows adding a new project from a template. Follow the steps in the wizard, where it is possible to select the template from which the project is to be created, meet requests for it, and define which template data is copied to the new project. Refer to the specific documentation of the SE Project component (Management Project planning Creating project using wizard - From template) for further details on this operation. oFrom existing project: Allows adding a new project from a previously recorded project. Follow the steps in the wizard, where it is possible to select the project from which the new project is to be created, meet requests for it, and define which project data is copied to the new project. Refer to the specific documentation of the SE Project component (Management Project planning Creating project using wizard - From existing project) for further details on this operation. ▪Associate: On the screen that will be displayed, locate and select the project (SE Project) already created that will execute the initiative. |

Click on this button to disassociate the initiative from the project selected in the list of records.
|

Click on this button to view the data screen of the project that meets the initiative selected in the list of records.
|
|
Click on this button to access SE GanttChart and view the details of a project that executes the initiative. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.
|
Note: This operation may also be performed through the Initiative execution task.
|
Through this section, it is possible to execute the initiative creation requests issued through the SE Request component. To do that, on the side toolbar, click on the button and on the screen that will open up, select the request that will be executed by the initiative record. Such operation can also be performed through the Request execution task.
Note: If no request executes the initiative, this section may be disregarded!

After filling out the required fields, click on the Save and exit button. At this point, the system will ask whether you wish to send the initiative to the next step. By clicking on the OK option, the initiative will be sent to evaluation by the due responsible parties. Otherwise, it will remain in the list of records with the Planning status.
|
